?? Position: Staff Accountant (Temp-to-Hire)

Company: Ledgent Finance & Accounting (a Roth Staffing Companies brand)
Location: Sacramento, CA (onsite or hybrid, depending on client)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $30.00-$35.00 per hour, based on experience

?? Key Responsibilities

  • Support month-end and year-end close: journal entries, accruals, GL account reconciliations
  • Maintain general ledger schedules & documentation
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice entry, payments, and collections
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
  • Assist with financial statement prep, internal reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Process expense reports and ensure corporate policy compliance
  • Support audits and Controller with ad-hoc financial projects

? Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years in Staff Accountant or similar full-cycle accounting role
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong GAAP understanding and full-cycle accounting experience
  • Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Sage, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical/problem-solving skills, communication, and time management
